Both K-Max and J-Max grinders are overall grinders that could brew for several methods.

The Stainless steel burr design aka K burr of K-Max grinder and the Titanium-coated burr design of J-Max grinder is different.

The adjustment design of K-Max and J-Max grinder is the External adjustment.
The adjustment mechanism of K-Max grinder is the same aligned with K-Pro & K-Plus grinder as 90 clicks per rotation, 10 clicks per number, 22 microns per click.
On the other hand, J-Max grinder employs the new adjustment mechanism as 90 clicks per rotation, 10 clicks per number, 8.8 microns per click.

The Magnetic catch-cup of K-Max and J-Max grinder allows you to remove it in a flash with the capacity of 35~40g.

K-Max grinder is considered the overall grinder and J-Max grinder is ideal for espresso brewing.
J-Max grinder produces more fine particles compared to K-Max grinder.
