All grinders sold by 1Zpresso are under a one-year warranty (damages caused by human factors are excluded).- Please submit your return request within 7 calendar days from the date you received a faulty item, such as grinders with cosmetic defects.
- Only items purchased directly from 1Zpresso’s online store can be returned to us. Grinders purchased through other distributors must be returned in accordance with their respective returns and refunds policy.
- Please ensure that the item you're returning is repackaged with all the accessories included when you received it.
- The warranty does not cover damage such as rust or wear and tear as we cannot guarantee the product's usage or storage.
It was time for me to upgrade to a better grinder and after pouring over (no pun intended) reviews on-line of all different brands, I decided to try the Q2 based on all praise that people were giving this product. I decided to order straight from the manufacturer based on price and availability of different colors available. Since I only make coffee for myself, the Q2 made the most sense in terms of volume. I didn’t need a grinder that makes more than one cup of coffee. The reviews said that the performance of the Q2 were right up there with more expensive models because of the design of the steel burrs. Once it arrived, and very quickly I might add, I tried it out and was amazed at how smooth the grinder performed. The quality is top notch and feels very solid. It has some weight to it which feels good in the hand and the ball bearings make grinding very easy. I tried it straight out of the box and I would say that the way it was set up would have no problem making espresso. The grounds were very uniform in size and it was able to make it really powdery, if that’s your thing. I make pour over coffee so it took me a while to select the proper grind personally. I’m still fine tuning the adjustment to suit my flavor profile though. I’m not a professional barista, but I would say that this product will suit your needs no matter what type of coffee you make. If you make more than one cup, you’ll need a bigger grinder for sure unless you don’t mind refilling it. But let’s face it, the grinding ritual is supposed to be fun and the Q2 delivers. It’s a pleasure to use, solid as hell and really smooth. I’m glad I made the purchase and I feel that it rivals it’s more expensive brethren. You won’t be disappointed. You don’t have to take my word for it, but at about $100 more or less, you have nothing to lose. This thing is great.
Absolutely wonderful product! The grinder is sturdy, obviously quality material, easy to use, easy to store, and the adjustable grind settings are excellent. The packaging was minimal and not needlessly fussy. On top of it all, the website was wonderfully easy to navigate and the check-out process was simple and efficient. The whole experience felt very smooth and high-quality, just like the coffee grinder!
Very good quality/price ratio, grinds quite well (i use it for cupping and pour over), compact design, good build quality.
I have measured the particle size distribution with a laser diffraction analyzer and compared the results with the famous Comandante grinder. It was very surpisingly to see that uniformity wasn’t that worse compared with one of the most credited hand grinder on the market. Actually in some settings the 1Zpresso was perfectly overlapping with the comandante. For this price: Chapeau!
I have two grinders from 1Zpresso one for travel Q2 and one bigger JX series for home use. Quality is superb. This grinders are amazing. Most bang for your buck 🙂. I recommend them to everyone who needs consistent grinds for superior coffee experience every morning.
Best hand grinder. We have used Hario and Porlex. grinders in the past. The Hario is very basic and just not worth buying. While the Porlex is a fine unit the 1ZPresso beats it on build quality, consistency of grind, and grind adjustability (many more settings). Even more importantly the 1ZPresso is QUICK. It grinds more than twice as fast as any of our other grinders. Be aware the Q2 holds about 20-22 grams of coffee depending on roast level. Ordering was easy, the international shipping was fast (we have ordered two and both times shipping was promised in eight days, arrival was in three!). It is a beautiful piece of machinery to boot, very satisfying to hold and use. Highly recommended, simply the best.
I bought this as a travel grinder for use with my Aeropress. I haven’t been able to travel much recently, so use it to grind coffee for my Hario Switch in my office. It’s fantastic!
I’ve been really impressed with the Q2 grinder. The build quality is top notch, and everything feels well machined. Most importantly, the coffee grounds that come out of it make the perfect cup of coffee! The light weight and small form factor also make it the perfect travel companion to my Aeropress!
This grinder is amazing, I liked it so much I recommended the company to my friend and he bought the jx pro. I grind for v60 and use 20 grams each time. This grinder takes less than 30 seconds to grind it to a medium and even shorter for a coarse grind. It’s easy to clean and really durable. I’ve dropped it accidently from high up onto a solid surface and nothing happened. For the price, this is an excellent choice for people who are making coffee for themself or traveling.
Affordable high quality handgrinder.
I actually prefer the feeling, Material, grindsettings etc. over something like a commandante grinder. The weight might make it a bit less appealing for traveling via plane. The Rubberband/Plastic Detail is the only aspect I dont like as much. Appart from that, this grinder delivers in every aspect.
