My daughter and son-in-law were very excited to receive their own grinder
A e only because I haven’t had the chance to make espresso yet. As for pour overs and drip coffee making-this manual grinder is tops. I’ve used a number of different models finally upgrading to this one. From the first cup, even before dialing in, the flavor and texture of the coffee as far superior to all my precious manual grinders and my electric flat burr grinder.

An absolute banger of a grinder, 17g dose grinds more than 2 times faster than my comandante, and having the grind setting on the outside when more than 1 person at home brews coffee is very convenient,
is it a comandante replacer? maybe.
this grinder has produced some of the best tasting cups of coffee’s i’ve had.
I would recommend this grinder to anyone who’s really into pour over, then maybe the zp6 as a second purchase if you’re really really into it, I would not recommend zp6 as the main grinder personally, since it does not work the best for every coffee, while this one should work with anything you throw at it.
the only con I could think of is how hard it can be to grind for espresso
I don’t make espresso at home, but grinding at a fine espresso setting might be a bit of a difficult thing for a lot of people, maybe it’s easier on the J-max?, I’m not sure, I haven’t tried it
