User Instructions

JX-Pro grinder
Adjust the dial clockwise for finer grinds.
Adjust the dial counter-clockwise for coarser grinds.

Adjusting the grind setting

  • Turn the adjustment nut/adjustment dial clockwise to make the grinds finer and vice versa.
  1. Turn the adjustment dial clockwise to the tightest. The number (#) marked at the dot is the starting point/zero point.
NOTE: the number (#) might not be 0; however, it is attainable if you like to calibrate to the #0. Check out here or the tutorial below.
  2. Turn the adjustment dial counter-clockwise from the zero point to the grind setting you like.
  3. There are 10 numbers/40 clicks in a single rotation. Every rotation moves the burr by 0.5mm.
  4. Refer to the grind setting tutorial post for several brewing methods.

Coffee Grinding

  1. Remove the handle and put coffee beans into the hopper. The maximum capacity is around 30g~35g.

Calibrating the Adjustment Dial

  • You would need to either loosing or tightening the knurled thumb nut or the adjustment dial to calibrate the grinder.
  • The numbers on the dial are designed to count how many steps you’ve turned and therefore the starting point is not necessary to be at #0.
  • It is common for the starting point of the adjustment dial to be around two or more clicks away due to the strength of tightening the knurled thumb nut.

Instructions

JX-Pro grinder
  • The grinder is well-calibrated if the dot is at #0 when the adjustment dial is in its tightest position.
JX-Pro grinder
  • When the dot points to #1 instead of #0 at the tightest, please simply remove the adjustment dial (by twisting it counterclockwise).
Adjust the knurled thumb nut counter-clockwise with 1 click.
  • Screw back the adjustment dial and the starting point should be at #0 (±2 clicks).
JX-Pro grinder

Except for the dot points now is at #2, so you need to adjust the knurled thumb nut counter-clockwise with 2 clicks.
  • Screw back the adjustment dial and the starting point should be at #0 (±2 clicks).

Precautions

  • Do not clean and wash the grinder with water.
